Author: TSNSportsThe Columbia Lions got back in the win column Friday night with a 42-14 win over visiting Antioch. The Lions took the lead in the first quarter on a 65-yard connection from Matthew Markham to Dre Hall. Columbia upped their advantage to 21-7 at the half and never looked back. Junior tailback Chris Martin led the way rushing for 131 yards and a TD. The Lions defense also faced a challenge with the Anticoh wishbone and talented QB Demarco Moore, but they stepped up to the task forcing a couple of turnovers. Sophomore Maverick Dickinson had a great night on “D”, causing one of the takeaways.
Columbia’s Dre Hall hauled in four receptions for 117 yards and a TD. D’Monte Martin five for 29 yards and TDs of 13 and 14 yards. The Lions (8-1) will close out the regular season next week at Franklin County.
