The  Class 2A fourth ranked Spring Hill Raiders showed why they are one of the state’s top high school basketball programs this year as they defeated the Class-1A seventh ranked  Mt. Pleasant Tigers 70-37 before a packed house at Spring Hill High School Saturday night. Junior Tony Sparkman led the attack with a career high 26 points.

The Raiders dashed to a commanding lead earlier in the game off some deadly shooting from beyond the arch by senior Montre

Williams hitting four three pointers on his way to 15 first half points.

Spring Hill’s sticky defense held the Tigers to only 23 first-half points, leading at the break 46-23.  T J Smith tallied 13 points to lead the Tigers.

The Raiders since losing to Summertown the first game of the season have won 22 straight. They move to 22-1 overall and are 15-0 in the district. Spring Hill also beat Marshall County Friday night 72-63. They’ll host East Hickman Thursday night.
