The state of Tennessee will have three teams in this year’s NCAA men’s tournament. Out of the SEC is the Vanderbilt Commodores seeded 9th in the West Region and is making the Big Dance with 15 loses. That’s a first. #12 seed Middle Tennessee (30-4) getting a lot of accolades will face #5 Minnesota (24-9) Thursday in Milwaukee, Wi. And East Tennessee draws Florida in the East Region.
The top seeded teams are defending champs Villanova (East), Kansas (Midwest), North Carolina (South) and Gonzaga (West).
