Columbia State Lady Soccer head coach Colton Bryant made the announcement on Twitter Wednesday that he would be leaving the program he built into national prominence since its inception in 2018. No reason was given except that “the decision has been made that it would be best if myself and Columbia State part ways and go in our own directions & walk new paths.”
CSCC Athletic Director Johnny Littrell told TSNSports the school appreciated what coach Bryant has accomplished with the team & they wish Bryant all the best. He said the growing sport of soccer was a welcomed program to the CSCC community. Littrell said the school will make the announcement of the opening this week.
The #14 ranked Lady Chargers finished this year with a loss in the playoffs to Spartenburg Methodist 2-1.
In his 3 years Bryant compiled a record of 21-12. 4-4 in 2018, 10-7 in 2019 and this season finished the regular season unbeaten at 7-0.
