In its second year of existence the Columbia State Fishing team of Hunter Jones and Ryan Prince, both of Mt Pleasant, captured 2nd place in the Abu Garcia College Fishing tournament put on by Major League Fishing and present by YETI at Lake Chickamagua with a weigh-in of 15-pounds, 14 ounces On Friday October 22.
The finish also earned the duo $1,000 for the college’s fishing club. Jones and Prince also qualified for the National College Tournament in Oklahoma. The CSCC team had an enormous outing finishing 2nd in the tournament that had 278 teams entered.
